FUCK YEAH BAILEY

baileygenine: (I wrote this Craig’s List Missed Connection a little over a year ago when I lived in the Mission. I just found it because I’m cleaning off my computer. I’m sorry. Yes, this is a recent photo of my cat, Kitty.) Maybe your hair isn’t emotional, it could’ve been hat influenced, or maybe you just like the style, either way, it worked for me.  You were strutting towards the entrance of the 30th at Mission St. Safeway, as if you were out of bounty paper towels and you had a big spill back home that needed to be cleaned up quickly. It was around 11 pm on this rain soaked evening that the calendar calls “Sunday”.  From what I can remember, you were wearing a sweatshirt with what looked to be an Iron Maiden t-shirt peeking, like how Wilson from Home Improvement peeks over the fence, from behind your lowered zipper.   I was busy carrying a 7 lb bag of cat food, but wasn’t too busy to make an awkward smile as I shifted the weight of my groceries.  I walked to the edge of the parking lot before I looked back to see if you were still near, and then waited at the 14 Muni line.   If this sounds like you, or someone you wish you were, please, let me know. Maybe we could go grocery shopping together, share cleaning tips, or maybe you too, have a hungry cat that needs some food. Please write back, I miss you already.
